Maroc Salat (Athan) is a simple and reliable solution for keeping track of prayer times in Morocco. It does not rely on calculation algorithms; instead, the prayer times provided are based on the database of the Moroccan Ministry of Habous for enhanced accuracy.

Some versions of Android (Chinese) do not allow the application to start automatically when the device is powered on. Please ensure that the Maroc Salat application is permitted to start at system boot from the security settings.

On recent versions of Android, you may need to allow the application not to be optimized, through the "Battery Optimization" option.

The application offers the following features:

• Prayer timings for the next day automatically updated after Isha Athan alert
• Dynamic compass to detect Qibla direction and North, as well as positions of the sun and moon
• Option to set the city for Azan
• Automatic detection of GPS location and mobile/wifi networks
• Alert types: Athan - Beep - None
• Hijri calendar (+ adjustment offset)
• 3 supported languages (Arabic/French/English)
• 3 Widgets
• Support for daylight saving time

The permissions used:

• Wakelock to ensure the Athan alert triggers before putting the device into deep sleep mode
• Vibration for alerts
• Location service to automatically detect the city
• Boot startup to ensure Athan alerts are created; the alert creation service stops once the next Athan alert is set.
